Lacas Coffee is one of the nation's oldest family run coffee importers. Since 1921 we have imported the highest quality new crop Arabica beans direct from family owned plantations. Our Original Blends, Special Blends, and Certified Varietals are custom roasted at our state of the art facility and delivered fresh to demanding restaurants, hotels, and specialty coffee shops.

Now, as the third generation of our family operates the business, we continue to personally inspect, sample and select our coffee beans in order to guarantee a quality and consistency unmatched in our industry. We are our own lead cuppers and roasters.

Imported new crop green coffees arrive daily in our roasting plant. After passing rigorous visual inspection, they are cupped - sampled, roasted, ground and brewed for tasting. In a process much like fine wine tasting, a spoonful of coffee is rolled through the palate and checked for flavor characteristics such as body, aroma, acidity and finish. Nothing short of perfection is accepted.
