Lacas Coffee Tour

The tour will begin with a trip to the roasting plant. Here you will learn how a state of the art premium coffee roasting facility receives, approves, designs, roasts and packages coffees for the foodservice operator. Next, you will view thecupping process, which will explain the sampling process from aproval and rejection to blend design. The definition and standards of coffee quality are also explained. Finally, you will learn about the orgin of coffee, the history of coffee as a commodity, and its changing use in our markets today.
